ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF USE
The Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) (“ARC”) welcomes you to the WeCAN EIP website (“Website”). ARC provides this service to you subject to the following Terms of Use (“TOU”), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. In addition, when using these services, you and ARC will be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services, which may be posted from time to time. All such guidelines or rules are hereby incorporated by reference into the TOU. When you use the Website you are deemed to have accepted the TOU.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

ARC will provide to users access to a rich collection of resources and information about autism. YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ALL THE INFORMATION ON THIS WEBSITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” and that ARC assumes no responsibility for the timelines, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalised settings. ARC has created the Website for use by an adult and you must be at least 21 years of age to use this website.

REGISTRATION DATA

If you choose to register as a user, you are required to (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself (such information being the “Registration Personal Data”) and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Personal Data with complete and true accurate information. If for any reason ARC has found or suspects that such Personal Data you provided is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, ARC may suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the website (or any parts thereof).

PRIVACY STATEMENT

We recognize and respect your need for privacy and security as you visit our site. When you visit our site to view any pages, you do so without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information, the Website will automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address cookie information and pages requested.

Where you provide us with personal information, this information is used internally only for the purpose of rendering you a service. We may share relevant data within ARC or if necessary with other government agencies so as to serve you efficiently and effectively, unless such sharing is prohibited by legislation. We may also need to disclose personal data as required by law or a court order. We will NOT share your personal data with non-Government entities, except where such entities have been authorized to carry out specific government services.

This Website may also contain links to other independently-managed websites who data protection and privacy practices may be different from ours. We are not responsible for the content and privacy practices of these other websites and encourage you to examine the privacy notices of those sites.

REGISTERED USER, ACCOUNT, PASSWORD AND SECURITY

Upon your registration, you will receive a password and account designation. You need to maintain the confidentiality of your password and account details and you are responsible for all activities transacted under your account. You agree to (a) immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.

TERMINATION

ARC may, under certain circumstances and without prior notice, immediately terminate your ARC account, any associated email address, and access to the Website.

Cause for such termination includes (a) your breach of the TOU or other incorporated agreements, rules or guidelines, (b) requests by law enforcement or other government agencies, (c) a request by you (self-initiated account deletions), (d) discontinuance or material modification to the Website (or any part thereof), (e) unexpected technical issues or problems, and (f) extended periods of inactivity.

Termination of your ARC account includes (a) removal of access to all features within the Website, (b) deletion of your password and all related information, files and content associated with or inside your account (or any part thereof), and (c) barring further use of the Website.

Further, you agree that all terminations for cause shall be made in ARC’s sole discretion and that ARC shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your account, any associated email address, or access to the Website.

GOVERNING LAW

The use of the Website and any questions or dispute arising from the use of the Website shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
