ARC(S) has been proactive in defining standards of educational excellence for individuals with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) on their journey from preschool to young adulthood.

Our vision for quality autism education options has developed from a strong understanding of the Singapore autism landscape from the various stakeholder’s perspectives, i.e. the client, family carers, teachers and therapists, and administrators.

Through a 2-year process of researching performance benchmarks, investigating service user needs, and rigorously analysing our own intervention practices, we have gathered invaluable information and insight regarding:

• The relative importance of various factors in autism early intervention services
  
• The most important SUCCESS factors that lead to an effective and sustainable early intervention program
  

The outcome of this process is the WeCAN Early Intervention Programme, a comprehensive package of intervention that can be implemented across Singapore for children with autism below the age of 6 years.
